Default poker in montreal

going to be living in montreal for a few months, and i'm wondering if there's anywhere to play poker live?

You can drive down to Akwasasne which is in the state of New-York, takes about an hour and half from Montreal. Besides that you can go to Toronto and you have like 3 casinos there but it takes a lot more time, about 5 hours to drive down.

There is some underground clubs, but they don't spread a lot of games. 1-2 NL up to 5-5 and sometimes, but rarely 5-10 NL. The only good things about these games is that you can buy deep, about 200bb. The rake is very bad tho, 10% capped at 10$, they even rake when you steal blinds. You also don't have a lot of table selection, on a good night, they're might be 2 tables running.

They're planning on putting tables at the casino in Montreal. From what I've heard there should be tables in about 2 months. They're even looking for dealers. I have no idea what limits they will spread, but I assume it will be low stakes so that it's always packed and they force people to play floor games instead.
