Re: which car
bmw 330i
Weight:Power - 14.22 Front/back leg room: 41.5"/34.6" Depreciation: 2002 330 has lost 30% of its value. acura tl Weight:Power - 13.88 Front/back leg room: 42.8"/34.9" Depreciation: 2002 TL has lost 37% of its value. lexus is350 Weight:Power - 11.53 Front/back leg room: 43.9"/30.6" Depreciation: The 2002 is300 has lost 32% of its value. infiniti g35 (consider 2007 changes plz) (Assuming you mean the RWD model.) Weight:Power - 11.65 Front/back leg room: 43.6"/33.6" Depreciation: 2002 i35 has lost 47% of its value. As for reliability, JD Power only had ratings for 1 of the above 4 for 2002 models, so it's difficult to find a standard to compare them all to. Also, for looks, that's such a personal thing, I won't venture an opinion there (Although I do prefer the looks of the Infiniti ) Also, not sure if it matters, but the Acura is FWD, the Lexus is RWD, the Infiniti is available as RWD or AWD, and the BMW is AWD. If the drivetrain doesn't matter, I'd go w/the Lexus, if you want something AWD, I think I'd go Infiniti (depreciation be damned.) |

Re: which car
I had to make the same choice, and looked at the same cars (though I had to get an AWD, but that doesn't change things that much). I went with the Lexus IS 250 AWD. Thouth the exterior of the BMW is nicer, it has absolutely nothing on the Lexus. The Lexus IS 350 also has awesome acceleration, though the BMW ride is a bit nicer. The BMW has more backseat room, but the Lexus is more reliable (assuming you are keeping it more than 4 years, if not the BMW leased is a good deal).
