Default Not sure what to do here with KT preflop??

Its a 11$ tourney at Stars with a little over 600 entrants, theres like 30 people left. So far Ive been playing solid, and probably have a tight image.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t3000 (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP1 (t14334)
MP2 (t90606)
Hero (t98493)
CO (t71699)
Button (t20024)
SB (t50328)
BB (t34171)
UTG (t105932)
UTG+1 (t61343)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with T, K.
[color=#666666]4 folds</font>, [color=#CC3333]Hero raises to t11000</font>, [color=#666666]3 folds</font>, [color=#CC3333]BB raises to t33871</font>, Hero?

Fold!!!

I don't mind raising here to try and knick the blinds, but If im receiving any aggression here I'm just passing.

If you call you've just lost 33% of your stack with a slightly above average hand. If you fold here you'r stil sitting pretty nicely on around 87000.

i fold it preflop - with KTo i would try a steal only from button or CO, but everyone has different starting requirements.

after the reraise my first impulse is a fold too, but lets look at it closer:
pot odds: 1:2
if we exclude AA,KK from the BB-Range (might just have reraised a called) we really are afraid of QQ-TT. Even with a dominated K (AK,KQ,KJ) or T (AT) we get the proper odds for calling.
against any other pair, or any other 2 cards a call with these pot odds is correct.
So in this case your reads on BB are most important - fold to a tight player, in any other case call.

You're 33% against this range: 66+,ATs+,KQs,AJo+,KQo and you're getting 2to1 so it's even there I think?

Also.. if you fold to his shove you have 87k.. if you call and lose you have 65k but if you call and win.. ship 135k and you are poised to go deep..

I would call here because of the pot odds and the chance of having a big stack.. having 65k is the same as having 87k because you can still raise in lp to steal blinds and cbet as well as resteal.

This could be a big leak of mine though so let me know what you think

Damnit if you're going to steal with marginal crap like this don't raise so friggin much. If you made it 8k then this is all very simple.

First, odds are slightly better than 2:1, ballpark it's somewhere between 2.1 and 2.2. It's going to take a really tight range to not call getting that kind of price. However, if you had planned ahead and make a raise that you could fold to a push, this would be much better. If the guy is super tight you can probably still fold, otherwise I think you have to call. What can you beat is not the right way to think about this situation, and neither is folding because you only have a slightly above average hand. Don't compound the first mistake by then not calling when you have odds to. Also, folding to this raise kills your image, since people may see you folding getting such a great price and think it's open season to push at your raises.
