I lucked out that my table, sans Vegas, knew what they were doing, having SiVtech and Excal to my right basically got me the seat because I was super card dead the past 3-4 hours. I might post this HH, I played sorta crappy and luckboxed to 15k in the 2nd hour then never got over 50k for the rest of the tourney. Made 2 serious blunders, 1 was not smoothcalling behind an EP minraise with TT, I raised and got repopped min and folded and the other was opening with 77 UTG and about 12 BB's, it's probably a fold or a push, the 3x BB was really bad. I might post the HH so people can see how ridiculously card dead I was and how lucky I was for my table draw.

I was wondering if the table dynamics weighed into you somewhat appreciating Papayo's stalling. By stalling, your table had less hands, less chances for someone to bust, and made it less likely for a different (especially aggro big stack) player to come to your table. Am I close?

Well papa stalled from 400 in, so I know he wasnt going to play back with almost anything sans AA-QQ and AK to my blind steals. So I didnt mind him stalling because the blinds werent hurting me much since I was stealing 1 time an orbit off him or the player to his left, so I was maintaining as everyone else tightened. The push you guys talked about earlier was T5o. It was the only time I really could have, mango had shown he didnt want to tangle without a big one and GotchAgain had a huge stack and odds but it wasnt worth him risking 30k and he had tightened considerably. Thanks to Adanthar for some help figuring out when I could fold in. I will post a HH soon, play pretty solid late and luckboxed to a stack early, nice combo.

i got ridiculously card dead at the end too and then by some miracle of god everyone folded to my BB when i had like 73 o/s and 24K.
then the blind stealing pretty much stopped and everyone stalled and folded until that guy with the 52 pushed

Interesting tourney altogether

I loved it, you don't get many chances to play a 7377 person field.

few things:
-Stars needs to cut off player chat in these tournies where everyone is competing for the same prize.
-Should've gone hand for hand earlier. Thank god I had 3 2p2ers to sweat or I would've chewed my hands off.
