PB, I am going to take full advantage of this well since you are still doing biz:

1. Before you start a live session, do you have a routine that you like to go through as in focusing on working on one particular thing or do you go over several things mentally right before you start your session to prepare?

2. Are you pretty good at picking up on any types of tells while playing live?

3. Any (tells)that come to mind that might be intersting or amusing to hear about that you saw?

4. When a live table goes from LP and then all of a sudden gets really wild as in every pot is raised preflop and it is never less than 2 bets to see the flop(usually more) what do you personally do as in PF hand selections, Position, calling PF raises with certain hands etc.

5. Is Jarlsberg a very misundertood cheese?

1. Nope. I just sit and play.

2. Not particularly, other than the obvious ones (like the guy who says "I'm gonna raise to see where you're at", etc). I do think that I will sometimes make plays based on "feel", but I can't really describe what that "feel" is.

3. Well, bad acting always cracks me up. Like when a guy calls two cold on a KK4r flop and then looks like he is trying to pass a kidney stone as he pops the turn. I love that.

4. I value holdings that can flop big and potentially win big pots like 33 and 76s more than holdings like AJo.

5. It is misunderstood by me. Sounds like a city in Denmark to me, not a cheese.

other then the fact that you are a good player, i really like playing with you. you are an entertaining individual (you could lose a few more dollars my way) and are one of the reasons that playing live is so much more engaging then online.

having someone like pbob talk about the bad mother, or some random fish play, or just his comments regarding hands can be priceless commentary that i truly enjoy.

i guess there isnt a question in there... but ill see you around.

Well, some people think I am. I am sure there are many who don't. The ones who think I am, however, play better than the ones who don't, so take that for what it is worth. I only have about 100 hours in the game thus far.

Lots of things. The biggest being I stopped assuming everyone else was right and I was wrong. Turns out I am usually right after all.

No idea. My hunch is that you could

I haven't played in the California games yet. The Vegas games were hit-or-miss when I payed them. I'd kill myself if I lived in Vegas. I bet you would, too.
