Default 50NL - How\'s my line with JJ?

I had been playing rather aggressively, but getting out with big betting unless showing down the winner. Of course, who knows who's paying attention to such things. I have no reads.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.50
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Our Plucky Hero: $77.95
UTG+1: $58.45
MP1: $49.60
MP2: $44.80
MP3: $69
CO: $49.25
Button: $49.25
SB: $49.50
BB: $13.25

Pre-flop: (9 players) Our Plucky Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Our Plucky Hero raises to $1.75, 5 folds, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($4.25, 2 players)
Our Plucky Hero bets $2.5, Button raises to $7, Our Plucky Hero calls.

Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($18.25, 2 players)
Our Plucky Hero checks, Button bets $12, Our Plucky Hero raises to $40...

This puts villain all-in by a few bucks. I figure if I'm coming this far I'm planning on calling the last $24 on the river, so this may get some better hands to fold. Good thinking? Fold long ago?

PF raise is too small, bet at least 4BB. On the flop, I would ve made a bigger CB (about pot size). When villain raises it gets tricky, what kind of hand could he be raising with? 99,TT or maybe a set. Question is: are you willing to play for your whole stack (or buttons stack to be correct)? I wouldn't like to. I threebet on the flop and fold to a shove.

I would usually call flop and fold turn. People are often much trickier on the flop than on the later streets. When he bets turn knowing you called, I don't think he is bluffing or value betting a worse hand. It's very possible he has a set or even a slowplayed overpair.

I like it, a lot. Alex, 3betting flop and folding to a shove is burning money. This comes up in like every thread. You 3bet you're allin.

you won't get any better hands to fold

it's purely whether you think you beat the villain's range here and the best way to extract when ahead v limit while behind
