he has QK/AQ/set here imo and I imagine youre splitting at best... he would be very retarded to do this w a missed spade draw... but dunno how bad he is. 23/18 seems ok other stats?

sometimes I do this with AA, honestly I think thats what your up against, AA KK AQ.

also he is UTG so if he has spades, he probably has big ones, creating in his mind some sort of posible showdown value and less likely to do this with the AT of spades or the like, thinking you will check behind on the river with your floats/turn bluffs yeah thats a scrambled run on sentence with bad grammar hope it helps!
