Just get a wii + a bunch of games if you're spending $500 instead of buying a wii and an xbox + no games.

I think that is a good idea. I'll play a game maybe once or twice a month and she only likes cartoon type games so I'm sure the WII is adequate.

henry,

i just purchased a wii (the metroid game is pretty good and i also enjoy Mario Strikers). i must say, i enjoy playing the wii MUCH more than my 360.

if your gf is going to be playing as well, i think its an easy choice.
