[NL100] I am always lost here
Stack sizes are 100, villain is tricky and loose, and will bet flush draws.
I raise preflop to 3.50$ first in with 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] from the c/o, he calls on the button. Flop comes out: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I bet 5$, he calls. Turn is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Check? Bet/fold? Does it change if he is tight aggressive? What if instead of a 9 it was a 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I assume the right play is check/fold, since out of position sucks against this guy and almost no river is going to make us happy if he bets again, but we are folding the best hand a lot of the time. I am always lost in these spots - usually I check/fold, or if I'm tilting check/call. |

I say fire a bet on the turn, too.
If you bet the turn against loose/tricky villain, then c/c the river and let him hang himself. |
