Quick question under this post. I intend to go to the Winstar this Friday and play 2/5NL. Is it dead at 8 am on a Friday? Are they are all rocks? Are their any drunks playing overnight to make it soft? How is the traffic on Friday morning (outside of the obvious rush hour around Dallas but my question goes to past Lewisville). Also if anyone is REAL familiar with area (from prior posts), how is the police situation on I35 on Friday morning?

Thanks for your reply.

I got a God-awful table draw last time I played 1-2 up there. In a six hour session, two people went bust, there were a total of FOUR pf three bets the entire time, and the rake destroyed all of our stacks. In short, the table was tighter than a nun's butthole.

Table change? Or was there only one game running?

NEVER play 1/2 at winstar. you live you learn. 2/5 is just right. 5/10 has some good players. limit sucks, regular tournements suck. but hey it beats, anything west of shreveport.

8 am is too early to go. Remember there's no hotel there really and no alcohol served. However on Friday, but not any other weekeday, the action is real good. Once the college kids wake up and the dallas folks drive up it grows steadily from 10:00 am onwards.

edit: i'm thinking about going tonight, though weekends are best. if anyone else is going holla
