SCs in the SB - weird spot
First off, I think I played this hand horrible.
This was villians first hand at the table, so no reads. He did buy in short so he probably sucks. The first guy who minraised sucks as well, and I figured this hand would be fine to play against 3 others from the blinds. After the villian checked his post, then minraised, I figured he was on 2 big cards, a was not holding a pp. I will post the hand history, and comments on all streets would be great. On the river, do we check here, in hopes that they check behind? If we feel like we could be ahead, should we push? Re: SCs in the SB - weird spot
Bet the flop. raise the weak bet. Raise the turns weak bet. Bet the river (for value)

Actually, I say fold pf, but then, I try not to play sc OOP.

Same thing on river, c/c. I also probably raise turn but not flop.

Re: SCs in the SB - weird spot
I think that at some point I should have made a decision if I was ahead or behind, and then act like that. I think that if I felt I was ahead, I should have c/r the turn, and if I thought I was behind I should have c/f the turn. I think that I get the best value out of him if I am ahead, and lose the minimum if I decide I am behind. I felt like I floated him the whole way hoping that I was ahead.
As played, the river went check check, and he flipped over Q10o. I think that if I raised the turn, I could have gotten a call and grabbed a few more moneys from him. |
