Hi All,

I haven't been having much luck with finding out who are the most reputable safe makers around. Can anyone suggest a really top of the line safe maker?

I'm not looking to store anything big. More like things like an ever-growing expensive watch collection, jewelry etc.

Cost is not an issue fortunately. I just want the best of the best.

I was looking into this a few months ago. My problem with it was that a really small safe can always just be picked up and taken. Hell, even the ones in the middle range could be moved with a dolly with no problem if someone was determined. If I had the know-how or knew a company that would install it, I would definately have gone with an in-wall or in-floor model. I decided to wait a year until I am out of law school and buy a house and just get a really large safe, mainly because I have several shotguns/rifles that need to be stored properly. I don't want to buy one now and deal with the pain of moving it in <12 months.

I have a large 3 x 4 sentry safe, bolted to my floor.

edit: well actually #2 behind making sure it doesn't have combo preset or key in it or door open.

The reality though, is that you shouldnt need a safe, unless you have something illegal in it, or just want it to keep some spar cash/guns/jewelry away from the random people that may come in and out of your house. Ie, dont keep 100k cash in it, fan think that this is safe.

We have one of those big gun safes in our house. You can get them at sam's for pretty cheap. They would be hard as hell to carry out.
