Wireless guitar hero - does it just suck?
I've bought 2 of these now and both have sucked hard. THey work for about 5 minutes, then the blinking light of death starts up.
I've tried all types of battery types and it doesn't seem to make a difference. My only remaining theory is that the batteries fall out while playing because they never seem to fit in there very good to start out with. Anyone have any tips or experience with this pos controller? |

If it is an off brand controller, it will suck. If it is off-brand and wireless, it is better used as a paperweight.

Yes, it does suck. Also, I dont believe it works with Guitar Hero 2 without some sorta adapter. I pretty much stick to the wired guitar that came with the game.

if you're gonna get a wireless, buy the Red Octane. The rest are ass.

Re: Wireless guitar hero - does it just suck?
I got a red octane one, I haven't had any problems with the batteries yet. I really like the strum bar on it, but the fret buttons feel like they push down too far (like the springs aren't strong enough or something). Sometimes they push down into the neck and almost get stuck. I haven't decided how I feel about it yet though, I'm still messing around between the wireless and the wired.

I take it the one I posted isn't the red octane one
