Re: Awkward 10-15BB stacks, NLTRN
Min-raising here is fine, if you are getting shoved on then tighten up a little bit and plan on calling the all-in next time you do it.

Re: Awkward 10-15BB stacks, NLTRN
creed - I kinda just spewed those numbers out, I really don't know exactly how much of my range I limp with, how much I raise with ... I do a lot of things sort of out my gut. I probably raise more at this late level of the game though.

Re: Awkward 10-15BB stacks, NLTRN
The Sklansky-Chubukov number for A8 has to be greater than 24, doesn't it? If you have trouble playing hands in this spot, you can just shove based on S-C and know it will be +ev. It may not maximize, but at least it's unexploitable.
For 12 BB stacks, shove K5o, J9s, Q8s, Kxs, QTo, and up. 13 BB stacks, take out K5o and J9s. 14 BB stacks, take out Q8s and K2s 15 BB stacks, take out K3s, K7o, and QTo. So yeah, I'd be jamming the hell out of this situation preflop. |

Better push/fold numbers can be found in the Mathematics of Poker, SAGE, or the FTP tourney book. |
