Grilling: Foreman vs. Weber
So I took a look at the nutrition facts on some frozen hamburgers I got, and wasn't too surprised to see the majority of the calories (70% or so) came from fat. However, I was wondering if this nutrition value changes since the grease drips off the the hamburger as it is cooking on either grill. Then I thought, well on the Foreman the grease flows down into the trap, whereas on a charcoal grill the grill drips off, but then gets burned and turns into smoke which covers the burger.
So is this why the Foreman grill is considered healthier than charcoal grills? Or do both basically cut out the same amount of grease? |

Re: Grilling: Foreman vs. Weber
haha....no. it doesnt matter, the fat doesn't reconstitute on teh burger in a weber. It may be "healthier" because there is some debate that char grilling causes cancer, but personally Id rather have a tumor than not eat bbq all the time.
