do you mean with air or with a flush? i think it'd be pretty good with either.

well, exactly. it's good with either one or the other. because his hand is pretty clear. (well, we can assign a decent amount of weight to his most likely hand, atleast)
i mean, sometimes your hand is fine to c/c, othertimes h e wont b/f so c/f should be best.

if he looks you up here, really your c/r is horrible, if he doesn't, it's really good. odd to say it but results fully dictate the play here, and again, this is good either always with a flush or always with a bluff against this specific player.

Why can't it be good with both against this specific player. He may bet lighter than he calls, but still fold to the CR almost always?

there is almost nothing that he will call a bet with but will not bet himself, so if i have a flush i may as well go for a c/r. and if i think he'll fold to the c/r a lot, then c/r bluffing is good too.

as it turned out, he made a small 3bet over my c/r and i (obviously) folded. i have no idea what he had. if he rebluffed me on the river then he's a genius.
