They said It was a private game. It wasn't, they still had the freeroll and a cashgame that day

You don't seem to grasp the concept of 'private game'

Private means they can admit or deny whoever they want without justification.

Private means that you are out on a whim if they want you out. The game might be a major social event for the regular players, and you might not fit in socially. It could be because you just don't fit in with the age group or the career status or the education level of the other players. It could be that you talk too much or too little or about the wrong topics. It could be that you come across as too outgoing or too withdrawn. Etc., etc. (If you don't fit in socially and are a big loser, however, you will be greeted with open arms.)

Or it could be that some of the regulars felt, rightly or wrongly, that you were a hustler, or a pro trying to rape a friendly game, or someone who quits ahead and doesn't give anyone a chance to win their money back. A couple of casual comments to management from the long time players and you are out.

Private means that management eliminates anything that bothers the regulars.

QFT. If the OP attempts to play in that game again, he may well find himself "eliminated" in a different, far more permanent manner.

If it makes you feel better, I got "uninvited" to a game once for knowing the rules. Plus I am the 2nd tightest player on the planet...

I just got barred from a private game also. I am reasonably tight but not a rock. I would even straddle often. I got barred because a wealthy guy knew I was a smart seasoned player, and I am guessing he liked being the hot shot (bragging about his tournament successes). He knew that he had influence with the houseman and said "I won't play if he plays". This bothers me a lot, because i enjoyed the guys i played with for the most part, and it was a profitable game to play.

Nothing I can do about it. Just thought I would share this -- and this is not the first time over my 20+ yr career.
