I think the guy that said the first slide was put together wrong is right. The holes may be for climbing, but that just means it's a dual purpose slide/climb.

yes. but many kids would be on the playground and assume it's a slide, and plummet to their demise.

The holes really mean nothing. It wasn't meant for kids to climb up (or that wasn't its sole purpose). Its clearly a slide thats been attached wrong.
