And what's the guess on the number of players at this table who would be able to beat 0.5/1 NL on PS for a decent winrate?

[/ QUOTE ]

How about 100%

Arent they going to reach a point (like around 1200/2400 NL or maybe 1200/2400/with a forced 4800 straddle NL) where the blinds are too high for cash to even play since cash will just get in the way? I mean if its 4800 to go, we are taking a standard pre-flop raise of 18k and the pot can easily get to 80k-ish on the flop. All it takes a little bit of action on the flop and you could easily get 500k+ on the turn and 2m+ on river. I dont think betting 1m in cash is really possible. Anyone else have opinions of this? How far up in stakes can they go and still play cash?

I'll play you $50/$100 heads up on FullTilt any day of the week. Not wanting to brag, but since your post is implying I'm some kind of fool, let me say that I haven't had a losing heads up session on those stakes at FullTilt in more than two years.

[/ QUOTE ]

Edit: It just occurred to me that that statement is consistent with not having played any 50/100 heads up on FT in the last 2 years. So, same, dude!

Lol that shove is so damn retarted.
I mean sure if you like flip coins 30/70 all day long I'm game but dont claim its a "good strategy" to do so.

[/ QUOTE ]

What if I'm 30/70 but I'm getting paid way more than even money when I win?

I haven't thought about it that much, but I think the pot was like $115,000 after Hellmuth's raise, so Baxter put in $60,000 to win $145,000. He's often more than 60/205 (29%) to win the pot. In that case, folding is out, and calling makes no sense because the money is going in on the turn anyway.

A set is the only hand where Baxter is -EV here, and even then it's okay since he's getting only slightly bad odds, and he has implied tilt odds plus first priority in doing business with Hellmuth.

This is kind of back of the envelope, but it seems clear to me that the shove is not "so damn retarted," though I know that everyone likes to take really extreme positions on every single play.
