What's the episode where Bender floats through space, has a civilization on his chest, then ends up bumping into the God constellation? That is probably my favorite episode of any tv show ever.

Here is a link to a recent interview with Matt Groening, with some details about the return of Futurama.

Excerpts:

"MG: We’re doing four DVD movies around ninety minutes and then we’re going to reconfigure those and they’ll be episodes on Comedy Central."

"MG: It’s going to be on Comedy Central, starting at the beginning of 2008 and I don’t know. Fox has an option, who knows. I hope so, that would be nice."

"MG: We’ve got a giant alien octopus that mates with every person on earth with its tentacles. And in the first movie, Sarah Silverman plays a cameo and Al Gore. Al Gore is back!"

One of my favorite Lines from futurama comes from this ep:

Robot Devil: "One Fourth of my ridiculously Circuitous plan is complete!"

Best characters are by far Lurr and Morbo, in this order. All episodes with Lurr are awesome.

Wife: "And what is this emotion you humans call 'wuv'?"
Lurr: "Surely it says 'love'."
Wife: "No, 'wuv'! With an Earth 'w'. Behold!"
Lurr: "This concept of 'wuv' confuses and infuriates us!"

"Welcome to “Entertainment And Earth Invasion Tonite”. Across the galaxy my people are completing the mighty space fleet that will exterminate the human race! But first, this news from Tinseltown."

fry is talking to his grandmother in the past:

fry: how about you go bake me some sugar cookies like you like to do?

grandmother: how 'bout THESE cookies, sugar? (as she rips open her blouse)

Can't let this thread go on without the best line from that episode:

"Oh, a lesson in not changing history from Mr. I'm My Own Grandfather! Let's just steal the damn dish and get the hell out of here. Screw history!"

I love that you can see Nibbler's shadow under the desk in the very first episode, four seasons before the explanation aired.
