It takes a little while to kick in, and lasts longer too. Brownies, made properly, WILL get you higher than any other method. The fact that it takes a while to kick in and that it's so palatable means that you can accidentally end up eating a TON of pot before you know what hits you. The highest I ever got was off of brownies. I was so baked that I couldn't even finish polysyllabic words because I'd forget the word that I was starting by the end of the second syllable, and I was stoned (not burnt, but stoned the whole next day. Brownies are insane.

There is this dispensary by me that sells these cookies where if you eat a quarter of ONE cookie on an empty stomach you get stoned for about 6 hours and its the most stoned you've ever been. If you are ever in SF, let me know. It's something you should try.
