Default 2-4, bluff in reraised pot.

Just getting back to online 6 max after playing live for several months. lots more preflop action online than live so wanted to check this line.

villain is fairly straightforward. seems decent and hasn't done anything really crazy in the session so far. he has reraised me a few times and i have folded preflop the other times.

With that other ace out there and your turn check I think you get looked up by a ton of hands that beat you.

I'm assuming you are repping a flush???

timeless, are you suggesting that I limp in on the button with 99? every other part of the post I thought was funny.

No I agree, 99 on the button is a raise almost always. Only time I can think of when it would be a fold is if you had at least a 1bb stack and one of the blinds (who covered you) turned his hand face up which was a higher pocket pair and then garanteed that no matter what your action he would move allin. In my poker career that has only happened 5-8 times so in your circumstance, yes, I would raise.

just float him on the flop and see what he does on the turn, u might have some fold equity on turn/river.
just folding on the flop isnt a bad option either.
however once he called ur flop raise hes going nowhere so save ur monies.

The problem is that you line doesnt look like an ace at all. How often are you raising this flop with hands like AK-AT in reraised pots? If you just smoothcall the flop I think your opponent will be much more afraid that you have an ace than when you raise the flop.

once u raised flop and he called he is going no where so river is bad and just looks like desperation. I cant think of many hands you are folding out with river ai.

yeah, i tend to agree. i think if i decide to raise this flop i should probably just give up if I get called. the only thing I fold out on river is hands that I beat most likely. Just wanted to get some feedback.
