Default Foxwoods Act II and Act III Satellites

Anybody have any experience with these sats? It looks like the Act IIs are 135 dollar single table sats to the Act III 1000 dollar multi's. I am only about an hour and a half from foxwoods. How is the competition in these? I'm thinking about devoting a lot of time to these so any info would be helpful.

Go for it. I played a couple Act 1s and 2s last year, and was left wishing I had time to play more. Compeition is weak, and the structures are actually pretty decent for a live SNG.

Sounds good. I am only an hour and a half from foxwoods and they are running a lot of the 1000 dollar Act III supers. If I like the structure I may end up playing in a lot of these things. Hopefully I can kill it. I'll be at foxwoods tomorrow if anybody else is planning on being there pm me. We can always grab a beer or something.

I Played a super satelite to act III 100 with 50 rebuy,
mixture of clueless players and decent to good players.

What cash games do you play?

i'm playing mostly 5-10NL right now, but have been running terribly bad and am considering taking a break from the online cash games for some tournament play. I'm not sure if it would be more profitable to just play live 5-10NL or to play the single table sattelites. Probably more profitable to play live 5-10NL, but I will still check out at least one of the single table Act II sats. I still plan on playing several of the Act III 1k supers whether or not I sattelite in or just buy in.

I am planning to play 1 or 2 of the Act II single tables tomorrow, and also the Act III 1k super at 6pm.

on the weekend they will prob be running 10 25 nl very loose game. gamblers gambling it up.
20/ 40 limit is not too bad either+

by the way the sit n go set up there the is not very good, they take above average fee that makes it not worth the tournement. Better off winning the act III and winning the big one.

how is the 5-10NL? the 10-25 is a bit over my bank roll, but I can always take a shot if the game looks good. I figured that the Act II's wouldn't be worth it, but I still plan on playing the Act III's.

The normal Act 2's are $150; 10-man SNG that you have to win in order to get into an Act 3 (2nd and 3rd get to play another Act 2 for free). I think the better bet is the Act 3 super satellite, which are $100 and hand out as many Act 3 coupons as possible depending on the prize pool. There is an optional $50 add-on, but it's only during the first level of play. It's fairly easy to get into an Act 3 this way. The only thing is it doesn't look like they run those on Saturdays.
