Seems reasonable given you don't get to see how the preflop raisor responds to the cutoff bet.

you could 3 bet preflop or lead out on the flop to see where you are at... as you played it.. just fold it

If you're playing it for set value, you just have to c/f most times when overs come. ESP in a multi way pot
