Ipod Headphones

So I've finally given in to technology, and got an Ipod. However, I never see anyone else wearing regular or stereo headphones with their Ipods, only the crappy ones that come with it that stick in your ear. Is this because people don't ever buy quality headphones anymore, or is that really a big trend now? Always thought the ones that go directly into your ear are far worse in affecting your hearing, aren't as comfortable either. Plus my stereo headphones work well enough as earmuffs for this winter season anyway.

Earbuds suck, of course. Wear good, comfortable headphones. I think people wear the earbuds because they think it somehow makes them cooler.

have you seen phil ivey? he has an ipod, and he has nice headphones. actually pretty much every poker player has nice headphones with an ipod.

this is a really bad post.

That's why people stick with the crappy white earbuds.

I've always preferred full muff over buds for comfort reasons, but I'll probably give in and buy an inner ear canal Shure earphone sooner or later.

While the iPod earbuds may suck, it's not true that all earbuds suck. Etymotic, for example, makes headphones that are heartily praised: http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/er6.aspx

cos they've always wondered what it'd be like to get mugged. people who use the earbuds are dumb on so many levels...

I think most people just don't give a [censored], and simply use what is provided.
