OK here's my Problem.
got a straight on the river. Should I just call his bet or was my raise OK??

I personally think your raise is perfectly alright. In fact I also think just calling would be too passive here? Only reasonable reason for just calling would be a specific read which we do not have.

Exact same thing happened to me one time. Guy check-called a paired flop to the river, where I got my flush. We got in a raising war there and he just had trips with no boat.

I think you'd be passing up a ton of value by just calling. Villain could have trips, a lower straight, an ace or could be a bluff(unlikely, but I've seen it)

I dont know why, but I ran superhot last week tripleing up my bankroll but the last two days I seem to lose every race and get outplayed like in this hand, thats why Im questioning some plays I made.

I hope that things turn around again the next days.

This raise is fine. You are playing heads up. Aggression factor, image , and equity are all good reasons to make this raise.
