I find it extremely odd that most 2+2ers would agree the casino is rigged but not the poker in any way shape or form becuase of the standard "what would they get out of it from rigging it"?

Casino isn't rigged; it has an unbeatable house edge. Which isn't the point. Betfair realised that you can have 0 edge games and still bust every degenerate. Remember amihotornot.com, where you rated a girl and were automatically presented with a new girl to rate? Online blackjack is that but infinitely sicker. It's lottery scratchcards marketed to 'skill' poker players.

Serious question, I'm not sure how I see the analogy works.
Do you mean that even though the game is 0 EV, the online casino keeps the player gambling long enough (fast hands, convenience) such that variance eventually busts the degens (they move up if they hit a solid upswing).

However, it seems that for every degen that busts out, some random nit gets an upswing and just cashes out. Hard to see how a 0 edge game can be profitable for a casino (though easy to see how it might bust degens).

I've bolded the error.

The biggest reason this would be unlikely to happen is that if you want to tie your ship to the idea of being the host of a skill based gambling game, you can't offer blackjack.

Not to mention a full-casino. I would be done with stars if the ever bring a Casino on. Shoooo, I left UB when they cut my RB and introduced ROSHAMBO.

WTF.

I highly doubt this happens, especially because of the prevalence of the UIGEA in America. Poker Stars wants to bill itself as a site that offers skill games that involve money. Slot games are not that.

Thank God this isn't true . I remember party had the "Hide Blackjack" option and I must've checked/unchecked that a thousand times. Although I had some great success with Party BJ and went super robusto a few times from $100 to several thousand, however I lost back about a few g's when they upped the limits and I thought I was invincible and could bet 100-1k a hand and take all of Dikshits fortunes. I was glad when I made the switch to PokerStars and I felt relief knowing I wouldn't gamble away my poker winnings no more!! If PokerStars ever goes down the route of adding casino games it will be a sad, sad day.

A funny story I remember railing the high stakes BJ multi tables on Party Casino and watching some guy lose 120k spreading 5 hands table max everytime. The voodoo hits/stays and double downs suggested he was super frenzied and probably committed suicide by now. It only took him like 2 hours to lose everything.

Party Roll when I was drunk playing BJ- Should be a song.

Instead or, "From Marcy To Hollywood and Back Again."

"From busto to robusto and back again."

F-Party BJ, I want all my money back. I don't understand how I was able to grind and make $$$ then just go lose it like some degen.

I guess I answered my own question. I do not touch no casino games anywhere or anywhere. Thank You Sir.

1. A lot of players keep playing till they bust.
2. Their blackjack has a 0% HA WHEN PLAYED PERFECTLY. Most people don't know how to play perfectly.
