Elaine - what you are missing is that the guys the thread is talking about are guys who are superficial and say things like "she's a 9," an objective judgment, when she's clearly not a 9 on any objective scale. This is very different from a secure person in a good relationship saying "she's beautiful to me because I love her."

I'm probaby completly wrong here, but I think Paris Hilton is a good example - Alot of men think shes hot, I think she is pretty unattractive.
