i'm 100% it would recommend that you first apologize for considering calling, and then to fold

It is a fold for sure until the short stack is out.

Just to reinforce the others' point:
- If Villain is pushing top 50% this is -4.8% EV
- If Villain is pushing ATC this is -3.3% EV

taipan168,

Just to give OP even more of an idea can you post what hands SNGPT says to call with (I don't have it on this comp ). I have to assume it would only say to call with AA and maybe KK.

The good call range here is :
* 99+ vs 100%
* QQ+ vs 50%

That is much looser than I expected. Is this mostly due to the fact that Hero will be in SB next hand when shortie is BB? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I just like reasoning other than what SNGPT tells me

It is because Hero is shortstacked himself so is far from a shoe-in for 1st or 2nd place.

If we assume it is the big stack pushing and the second stack calling, then the calling range is KK+ if big stack pushes 50% and QQ+ if big stack pushes 100%.
