Because I expect him to bet most of the time and check raising gets an extra bet out of a bluff.

So you c/r flop and get 3popped. What then ? Do you put villain on AA/KK or QQ/JJ ?

If we cant get allin on this flop then we have to fold pre(not that bad of a play). I think its much more likely AA/KK.

I think going AI on this flop is ok. So the question is, how are we getting villian best stacked if he's behind. And I guess the bet and 3bet-AI line is better here.
If we c/r he'll only call/rr if he's ahead.

Do you really think anyone is folding AA/KK to a c/r????????
Check/Push this flop gets called by those hands 100% of the time.

I would fold AA/KK on this flop against players I have no special reads on. I call against unknowns for information and against very loose player. I call more lightly if I have Ad or Kd.
Against any reasonable range for this play you're a dog with AA/KK.

I agree with nightwood that betting out is best.
1)You don't risk giving away a free card on a co-ordinated board
2)You don't give away the strentgh of your hand therefore have a better chance of getting paid by the weaker hands in his range.

preflop is pretty marginal, even given your odds. with a QJ and out of position, you're usually not going to flop anything that you can run with. i think its OK to make that call, but compared to other hands that you might have opened with, its the worst kind for that situation.

on the flop, i don't think there's any question at all that we will get all of our money in if we can. that board hooks up with a ton of hands other than QQ/JJ, and villain also might have an overpair.

personally, i almost always donk in situations where i want to get all of my money in, whether the boardis dry, whether the opponent is agressive, whatever. i'm just not much of a c/r guy, other than on the turn. i do think that as far as c/r situations go though, that this is a pretty decent one. even when villain has a draw to beat you, he's usually going to bet it here anyway.

as far as "but what if you get raised!?" goes, well, that's a pretty easy one. you have top two, so you get your money in.

edit: i should add that its silly to put a mini3raiser on a range of JJ+/AK kind of range. maybe he was just going to push the minraise button when it was his turn nomatter what. who knows.

Its much more likely he has AA/KK here than QQ/JJ, so I'm happy to play for stacks.. If you're not playing for stacks here, I would have folded preflop.
I'd assume he is a donk from the minraise pre, and donks will never fold AA/KK here, so don't mind a c/r if you're sure he'll bet.
However flop is drawy so I don't mind a lead either.
Check call is the worst option here, too many cards can kill your action on the turn.
