Default Middle Set on Drawy Board

Villian is unknown. But I'm pretty sure he's an OK regular. He waited forever on the flop here before calling and then bet out almost instantly on the turn and then folded just as quickly when I shoved. Whats he doing this with? QQ?

Also, is shoving here my best option?

something dumb like 88, and yeah shoving is obviously your best option. calling is terrible on this board

Looks like a medium pp, or, more likely, 89c-KQc. Push is fine, hopefully its not A5c.

the hand looks pretty standard but i think we should at least consider just calling this turn bet. I just don't think he is leading a draw after the flop action, if you rule out the possibility of him having a draw, you can just smooth call this, and let him think that you have some (88-TT) or a draw and let him do something stupid on the river. thoughts?

There should be no considering calling his turn bet.

Do work,
