Default Best $1/2 NL Game (or best low limit B&M NL game (>$500 Buy-in))?

I'm looking for the best low limit no limit cash game to play at, few things I'm looking for:

1. Buy-in.

2. Times the games are good and running (not like, Friday/Saturday at an 8pm, but like at a Wednesday at 2pm).

3. Location of the game (i.e. how much it cost to stay there?)

I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of stuff to add to the list, but this is roughly what I am looking for.

Last time I was at MGM, was this past July, midweek, traditionally a very slow time.

I played $1-2 from 2pm to 5pm or 6pm. Every day. Game was always going then. Game was normally pretty easy. Once, I sat at a table with three or four regulars, and rapidly determined that it wouldn't be profitable for me. As there were multiple games, Changing tables was no problem.

i just played at casino niagara (niagara falls , ont), they spread mostly 1-2 nl max 100. super soft, if you are any good you will crush this game. was there on a sunday night and monday late-morning early afternoon....lots tables, plenty of action.

Well, if OPer was looking for 1/2 games w/ buyins greater than $500, which his title seems to suggest, than MGM isnt' a good game... Pretty sure that's a $200 buyin...

The only 1/2 games (besides downtown which blows) that are $500+ are Caesars ($500 max), which has games constantly, and the best times to play are prolly evening (9pm-1am), weekends, and any late nights after the idiots stumble out of Pure...

Also, the Wynn spreads 1-3, no cap, but like 80% of the people that I've played with buy in for $200ish... Sometimes a few will buy in for more, or have more on the table at least...

Ballys ($300 max) is a decent game too, and prolly runs well around the same times as Caesars...

thanks for the help guys. and I'm dumb at my symbols, I mean $500 or less buy-in.

A $1/2 NL $500+ Buyin game, I'm pretty sure I'd be awful at.

TI (Treasure Island) also has a $500 max on their 1/3NL game. Mandalay Spreads 2/4NL with a $500 max as well.

I'm wondering the same thing. Decent place to stay that isn't too expensive and has soft 1/2 games going all the time is what I'm looking for. I'm going to vegas for the first time in a couple weeks and I've got about 1k to bring with for poker. I'm currently crushing .5/1 online... are the 1/2 games easier than .5/1 online?
