I can\'t multi table :(
I have to have the whole table showing if I am playing it. I have to see the action. If I am two tabling and one table pops up, I have to look at the players who are in the pot, stack sizes, and stuff like that. I can't just bet right when the screen pops up without thinking about the best possible move. And you can't get reads and be able to tell how the whole table is playing if you are looking at another screen. I focus when I play and I just can't play perfect poker if not watching the table.
I can't multi table using Stars tile feature because it is just too small. The chips, cards, and stack sizes are just not clear enough and it takes extra time to make sure what I am looking at is correct. I know the WUXGA lets you 4 table with no overlap, but how is that compared to Stars 4 tiled tables? Does it actually look like four full sized tables on one screen, or do they look scaled down like the tile feature? Maybe someone can post a picture of four Stars tiled tables on a 1280x800 resolution (that's what i'm using), and a picture of a WUXGA screen with four full Stars tables. |

Re: I can\'t multi table :(
It sounds like your problem isn't the resolution. It's the actual size of the monitor.
In any case, multi-tabling is a skill like any other. For some people it is easy, and for some it is difficult. Either way, it takes practice. |

Re: I can\'t multi table :(
Can somebody with a WUXGA laptop screen open four tables on PokerStars with no overlap and take a pic.
Then set your resolution to 1280x800, open four PokerStars tables if you closed the other ones and click the "tile" feature in options and take a pic. Then post pics on imageshack and post a link. Please sirs. |

Re: I can\'t multi table :(
get a big enough screen that there's no overlap, I can fit 8 with no overlap and it's easy enough to follow the action. Tiling is simply annoying. But...if two tabling, overlap or no, is taxing, multi-tabling just might not be for you.

Re: I can\'t multi table :(
it sounds like the no overlap isn't going to help. You should have played more video games when you were younger.
Drop in stakes. and then just force yourself to play those 2 tables or 3 or 4. you will spew all over the place for the first day or 2. then you'll get use to it. |
