thanks for the advice. It all makes sense, yea the FL poker scene is terrible. anyways im going to stick with this live thing. i dont expect to make a great living off this, but im sure i can beat the game in the long run, so im going to grind it from now on and keep my roll growing slowly. Then i will switch to live SNG's and MTT's. this is just something ill do on the side because i am very bored anyway, and i cant find the motivation to play online.

It's beatable as long as all your opponents are terrible (which is usually the case). But if you put just 3 decent players at the table (you plus 2 others, assuming you're a decent player) and it's unbeatable. The house sucks the calling stations dry so fast you'll struggle to break even.

I still go to the Melbourne Greyhound track every now and then if I need a break from online. It's a fun diversion. But if you're trying to build a bankroll it's not the place to be.

i play the multis at the hollywood hardrock, they are intensely profitable.

only prob is the cheapest ones are 150's.
