Greatest Games Ever:
Treasure of Tarmin [edit - 2nd AD+D game, how do you not remember this one?]
Sea Battle
Deadly Discs [We basically won this game, we never lost, like ever after a while]
Hockey
Football

I think I still have Treasure of Tarmin is some box somewhere.

best intellivision game was Bomb Squad.

The creepy robot voice saying "the code the code, figure out the code". So good. Also a big fan of B17 Bomber, Utopia, and AD&D. Great thread.

Wow, I can still remember how my thumb hurt after playing this for a dozen hours at a time.

Did anyone have the game where you and your partner had tanks and tried to kill each other? I can't remember the name. That game was slow, but I liked it. You could actually drive off the screen and come back on. My favorite was that you plant landmines.

Wow, great memories.

Surprised to see only one mention of AD&D Treasure of Tarmin. Hands down best game for Intellivision. Probably one of the first first person games ever. I remember my cousin (who is ten years older than me) tell me about how he was sick at Michigan State and pulled an all-nighter to get to level 99 on the advanced setting. He was my hero at that point. What happened when you climb the ladder down, I asked? He replied, "You go back to level 1". That was lame. Attack the colored doors to get the magic books!

Tron Deadly Discs was next in the hierarchy. My strategy was to sit in the corner and put up your shield to block the robots' discs and earn points. The orange bastards with the white sticks were brutal.

Sea Battle was great too. PT boats and subs were teh pwned.

LOL @ 5 card stud in Vegas and Blackjack. I hear the upgrade had razz.

Never played Utopia, however. I might download a sim program just so I can check it out. And play the dealer @ 5 stud and draw, now that I can remember that a set beats two pair.

Seriously, anyone played poker against teh Intellivision?

Haha at this thread getting bumped.

Najdork, kleinstadt: for whatever reason I decided to leave off Treasures of Tarmin. It's been like nine months so I can't remember why, but I did. I played that game a lot too - didn't win much but enjoyed killing human-sized scorpions and facing mirrors that shot stuff at me. Plus it was supposed to be like 256 levels "deep" (powers of two I guess?), but the minotaur was always in the top ten or whatever so the last 246 were pointless, victory-free levels.

Definitely enjoyed that game though.

Even after being infected with the Wii the last few months, this thread still got me excited a 2nd time.

What were the other space games? I remember a bunch of us going over to my school's fat momma's-boy's house to play some Intellivision space game as much as possible, but I don't recognize the screen shots in this thread.

It was more like a bunch of spaceships coming at you in space in small clumps, and you had to set your target at them and take them out before they got too close....

Space Battle,Space Hawk or Star Strike?

[/ QUOTE ]

that game is Space Battle, one of their best
