Re: NL50: facing a big raise with a good draw
I think he is going to felt and overpair most of the time here, agaist the normal goofballs-I bet with the plan of pushing here, but against this guy, I don't think so. I think it will be a rare occassion that you have 15 outs, in addition, you have 0 fold equity. I let it go.

Re: NL50: facing a big raise with a good draw
EDIT: My mistake. Sorry. Didn't see minraise. I'm still not sure about calling, but it isn't terrible like I made it out to be.

Re: NL50: facing a big raise with a good draw
Fold. Villain is not going to fold and you are likely facing QQ+ with this line i.e. you are drawing to a flush or runner runner only.
Also a fold PF is prudent against this stack size. |

Re: NL50: facing a big raise with a good draw
[ QUOTE ]
Fold preflop. What's the point of knowing this: 13/4/1.5 and knowing this: CO: $21 if you don't use that information. [/ QUOTE ] I don't know if I necessarily agree. Maybe it's b/c I'm biased against min-raisers. They're basically the ugly cousin of short-stackers. As played, you're lucky here if one over is live. He isn't shoving 99 into you on this flop. You're dominated vs. 10,10 & QQ. JJ isn't much better. Fold, and dont lead into him for pot next time. |

Re: NL50: facing a big raise with a good draw
I'd probably fold preflop, but once you call I'd check behind on the flop to avoid this type of situation. As played fold to his flop check-raise.
