Default NL5: Hero makes top set on drawy board, deepstacked

I played this hand earlier today.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP3 ($5.16)
CO ($1.58)
Waffles ($9.43)
SB ($7.62)
BB ($4.07)
UTG ($0.37)
UTG+1 ($8.01)
UTG+2 ($4.74)
MP1 ($6.24)
MP2 ($4.96)

Preflop: Waffles is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP1 calls $0.04, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises to $0.2</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Waffles calls $0.20, SB calls $0.18, BB calls $0.16, MP1 folds.

Flop: ($0.84) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $0.04</font>, BB calls $0.04, <font color="#CC3333">MP2 raises to $0.6</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Waffles raises to $1.8</font>, SB calls $1.76, BB folds, MP2 folds.

Turn: ($5.08) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Waffles bets $2</font>, SB calls $2.

River: ($9.08) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $0.04</font>, Waffles calls $9.43 (All-In), SB calls $7.60 (All-In).

Final Pot: $24.36
<font color="#009B00">Main Pot: $24.36, between Waffles and SB.</font>
<font color="#009B00">Pot 2: $1.79, returned to Waffles.</font>

Reads: None sadly. I've been at the table for only one orbit. About 4 hands ago I stacked somebody, so i've a deep stack.

I pick up top set on the flop, so i'm raising to charge the various possible draws.

On the turn i'm betting 1/2 pot to try and keep him in the pot or to encourage him to C/R if he just made trip sixes. Okay?

The river, i'm sure he's either got a FH (single six or eight in the hole) or a busted flushdraw. Is a push standard? Does he ever have quads here?

Fake Edit: Big smiles for 600BB pot.

You shouldn't be asking questions like this with the top full house. If you got coolered just lol and move on.

It all seems fine.

standard.

nice big pot + your nice big full house = get all your $ in the middle.

let me put it another way. do you have any strong reasons for folding? you beat smaller full houses/any straight &amp; your only concern is quads on a double paired board. if villan has the nuts, then write it off to experience.

I'm 3betting this preflop on the button sometimes.

Flop is fine, bet more on the turn (closer to pot). If you haven't gotten it in by the river, you should do so.
