XMAS music already - UGH - Page 2

93.1 FM in Indianapolis (an already horrible station) switched the other day to their "93 days of Christmas." Yes, 93 days of nothing but Christmas music. Why the [censored] do we need this for 25% of the year? It's no wonder people hate Christmas anymore and christians have trouble getting new recruits.

I like Christmas music, but each carol once through, and that's it; I'm good 'til the next year. It's absurd that they've already started with the music in some places. Every year around here, they start right after Thanksgiving and by the time December rolls around, each time I hear another Christmas song, I lean more towards suicide.

I cashiered in a store in college, and I now hate every secular carol there is.

Ironically, I like the more religious ones more than I used to, because I hear them less.

I think there's a radio station in New York that does this just after Labor Day.

Why isn't there a station that's just 365 days of Christmas music?

I'm also capable of being annoyed by multiple things. But i gotta say that christmas music is really close to the top of my list. I'm in missouri where 90% of the radio stations are country anyway, so once christmas music starts radio is effectively useless.
