Default 100NL;2 hands v. villian; 2nd hand in 3bet pot double bluff or give up

Villian is 16.73/13.38/3.83 postflop agg. over 269 hands about half at 50NL and half at 100NL. He seems fairly solid, not getting too out of line.

Two hands happened with abou 15 or 20 min. or something in between and I think on different tables.

Results of the first hand are in white if it will help with decision on second hand.

Ok so I should have valuebet river in the first hand...I was thinking I should and I don't know why I checked. Does anyone bet the turn though?

Ok so in the second hand do you like a push? Or do you like a check/fold? Or is there some third option that you think is best?

1st hand. I feel like you should bet maybe slightly more on the flop(22$), so that you can shove the turn.

2nd hand. I check/fold that maybe weak tight

Please shove the turn in hand 1. Or at least bet the river. So much value lost there.

Hand 2, c/f about 80%, shove about 20%.

1 i dont really mind as much v. the nit, i think you should bet the river though.

2 yeah, c/f alot, sometimes shove. he played his medium hands (i think you can throw 99-JJ) into that range pretty slowly, i think you should have a bit FE if you do shove.

I need more precise PAHud numbers before I can give my opinion. Please provide the third decimal place.

Really? Gotta give that sarcastic reply and also not comment on the hands. What are you playing now anyway? I remember a few threads in STTF and thought you'd given it up a while ago.

And yea I def. shoulda bet river on hand 1. I don't know what i was doing there. Shove turn though? Are we expecting JJ/TT to call or what?

lego,
yeah, we are looking for a tight call from villan, stubborn tt/jj/etc. after the turn check/check though, i think you can profitably bet that river nearly always in hand 1.

Orange may be right since the guy's a nit. It depends on your image a lot too. But more often than not I am shoving that turn against just about anyone.

I'm about 20/17/3.8 and c-betting like every headsup pot. I don't think I'd shown down a double barrel without at least TP and in fact rarely double barrel bluff anyway.

Thanks for the help. 100NL's been goin pretty good lately so you may be seein a lot more of me up here soon.

I gave up. I'm back after some big multi wins. Playing 100NL at the moment. Running like absolute [censored] as usual.
