why do people always got to come up with smartass anwers to peoples questions here? its a forum to learn supposedly. so what if the question is lame in the mighty 2+2ers eyes? if u dont like it then dont reply. u people suck.
to answer yur question op........they would obviously be better players if they never titlted. hope that helps.

god i'd really love to slap half the people in here. u smartasses make poker even uglier than it already is.

This smartass replies here is what attracts alot of traffic here, why do you think Brandi is being mentored by DS? Because of the outrageous threads she produces here. The last time I checked this is the gossip and opinion thread.
To answer the OP question is if EVERY great pro could avoid tilt it would be a perfect game where pro's only lose by bad beats or having the 2nd nuts.

Tilting is a much bigger leak in cash games than tournaments, so they would probably be much better at cash games, and slightly better at tournaments.

This is like the "How good would Shaq be if he could throw FTs?" question.

(ie: pointless)

[/ QUOTE ]

Then refigure my question as "how good is the 'A' game of Matusow, Hellmuth, or another player with a reputation for tilting/steaming relative to the 'A' games of other well-known players?"

If you are playing with Matusow and he seems to be "in the zone" and not tilting, how cautious should you be around him while waiting/hoping for him to blow up? That seems like a question with some practical value to someone (not that I'll be playing with him anytime soon).

In the case of Matusow at least, some of these "blow-ups" are the inevitable result of his style of play. He'll win four hands with "great bluffs", then run into the nuts and do the lot. Blow up ?
