Default 10/20 vs. Robert Mizrachi

I don't play a lot on Full Tilt, so have no idea how the guy plays. The only thing I know is I saw him minraise pre a couple of times.

Anyway I have AJ raise it to 70. Mid position. Only Robert calls from the BB.

Flop: K J x rainbow
Pot 150

He checks, I check

Turn: J (I believe still no suits, not sure tho)
Pot 150

He bets 150, I call

River: 9
Pot 450

He checks, I bet 450, he pushes for about 1500 more. I call, right? Any other mistakes?

OK bet flop I can understand. But why the turn raise? He should be pretty weak most of the time, right? Every once in a blue moon he's beating me, and if he has QT he still only has 7 outs.

I guess he's calling with a weaker jack. Do you still raise the turn if you have JT?

You have a monster hand and want to build a pot vs a weak oppent.

HTF did I miss that.. I should ban myself from the tables for a while.

re: good2cu,

I didn't know he was a weak opponent, other than one or two times that he minraised. Didn't think I'd gain much from a raise. But I probably think that too often, and miss a lot of value in spots like that. TY for the comments.

RM is not that weak.

I was going to join the chorus and say "bet flop/raise turn etc" but now that I think about it, a flop check actually looks kinda good sometimes esp vs decent opponents (RM is at least decent) that are very capable of check-raising light on K- or A-high flops. So I don't mind a flop check, and once OP does check the the flop a turn raise will look too strong to really get paid off by a weak hand (ie anything other than JT+), so I think it looks good? ...provided you call the river, of course.

Kirk

PS. Hung over (Vegas, what do u expect?) so sorry if it all makes little sense. I stand by what I said tho.

he doesn't suck so much, but he is a giant station, raise turn, I guess call river, sucks though I doubt he is bluffing.
