Default how can I honorably call off a sports bet?

Kind of a betting newbie, and I had bet this guy on this other site $20 a game on eagles/cowboys (they play twice this year) but things happened and now I don't have that kind of money to gamble with (it was a straight up win or lose bet, no point spreads). Is there anyway I can get out of this? Is there some ettiquete to this?

For $20? Isn't your honor and integrity worth $20 to you?

I guess you could just straight up beg. For $20, the other guy may just pity you and let you go.

That's what I was wondering, like I said I'm a betting newb, and I didn't know how unhonorable it would be to back out. I don't wanna be a duchebag and just hope the eagles win and then take dudes money, thats not right.

Exactly how much experience do you need to know that backing out of a bet when it looks like it will go against you is a douchebag move?

If eagles win, he gives me $20. If cowboys win, I give him $20. We're doing the bet two times, as they are scheduled to play 2 times this year.

You don't have $40? WTF?

If the Eagles were 4-0, and the Cowboys had lost Romo and T.O. for the season, would you be willing to cancel the bet?

You made a bad bet, it happens.

You can be stand up and honor your word and pay if you lose, or you can be a slime-bucket for $40.
