hamill got robbed. Bisping didnt deserve anything. "Octagon control" is the key point here, bisping ran and backpedalled like a little girl for the entire fight. He got taken down at will, which counts for something. He was let back up, and not much damage was done on the ground, but it does count for something, the same way landing a jab that doesnt really hurt your opponent still counts.

Hamill outboxed him, took him down, and was the aggressor 90% of the fight. Bisping landed like 6 punches the whole time. wow highway robbery.

also, i'd like to pat my own back for pimping Kongo. maybe i got lucky, maybe i'm an mma sharp, who knows.

anyone else think dana is not too happy with mirko right about now?

quite an investment he put into him, i hear...he looks terrible, just waiting for someone to stick their head out to land a left high kick. kongo looked like the -300ish favorite...

FWIW, I scored the fight 29-28 Hamill live. Also, Hamill probably would have won this with the old Pride scoring.

However, I still maintain that the fight (read: the second round) was closer than everyone believes. I'm downloading the fight via titborrent just to rewatch the round. Will report back when I'm done.

yeah dana can't be too happy. Odds on mirko just retiring are pretty good. He's always been skittish mentally and it's not like the ufc is dying to give him more fights. it seems like he might just fade away into oblivion.

There are reports that Cro Cop broke a rib during the first round. May explain his poor 2nd and 3rd round performance.
