Default 10/25 HU vs CrYinG on UB

haven't played him before. i know he's a reg cuz i often see him sitting at multiple 10-25 and 5-10 tables but other than that no read.

so far in the match he has been pretty passive and i think this is his first time clicking the pot button post flop over like 25-30 hands. example hand of his passiveness: he limps 77 (100 bb effective), flat calls a raise, calls on a 9-6-4 board, calls 5 turn, checks behind 2 river. that's really all i have to go off so far.

Hand #45623006-7715 at PhilHellmuth2 (No Limit Hold'em)

why would you bet the turn if not to get raised? so that he can just call you down with a worse hand? easy game...

Hmmmmm. Interesting hand. I am wondering about the lead bet on the turn...i'm not to sure if i like it...i think if CrYInG had something like KJ or J10 just about anyhand, and you checked the turn, he'd likely try to bet you off you 5's or small pair (probably a range that i would give you, obv. possibly the Ace but slightly less now that the second one has come)
But because you lead bet the turn, it kinda looks like your trying to protect you middle pair/5's and he could be trying to bet you off it.
I am now torn between a reraise or a flat call. I think a reraise here, i would be okay going broke in this spot heads-up. I don't think you wanna see another card.
I;d like to hear someone that regularly plays these limits has to say.

Trickey spot if he has 55 or 33 this is the perfect spot to be in for him.88 hands of a 10, 6 you will split with another a10 , 6 sets of 5/3s, even 2/4 is 16 sets, 55 hands for flush draw.

I really dont like this spot to be honest. A fold is probably best, he is representanting a set or even straight, cant see him doing this with a flush draw right? Is he this bad he will go crazy for a weak 10?

yes, but as was said, don't bet out here if your not OK with him raising and possibly felting it (given your description of the player/match)

at this point i prob just check turn to him almost always

I think shove > call since you might play a draw like this.

the latter being true, why does it make a shove better? will he raise worse aces on the turn to hero's donkout? seems doubtful.

just seems like if we push here he's obviously folding his bluff hands and calling boats, and aj-ak. dont see the value in it

I sort of agree with you but folding sucks and just calling is awkward as hell (what do you do from there, c/f every river?). I personally hate the turn lead, I was just saying what I think is the best line from there.
