(ugh i know i'm not explaining it very well, its late) 3betting pre takes advantage of your preflop equity and cuts down on your reverse implied odds (like him flopping a set of sevens), so its a pretty much a must do. |

usually i 3bet, but often enough just call in this spot. though i still think it's fine to do very occasionally, your post explained why it should be very rare. thanks ike.

[/ QUOTE ] thanks ike, this is a really, really interesting concept that i haven't been applying. i have to think about this for a couple days though before i can start working it in. do you have any more of these ideas that might seem common that you want to share? |
