ethics question: if you only have one bathroom in your apartment, and your roommate is currently in there taking a shower, is it acceptable to get on your tiptoes and pee in the kitchen sink?

yes imo.

there are a lot of valid reasons to piss in the sink. This is obviously acceptable.

At school we played drinking games downstairs in the basement, and there was no bathroom down there. It was acceptable to go behind the bar and piss in the sink there to avoid missing any of the game.

For your scenario, peeing out a window and peeing into a houseplant would also be acceptable.

yeah i ran the water for a sec after i was done

i didnt go outside and pee on a bush cause we're on the third floor, and i wouldve been peeing off a balcony onto a yard where little kids frequently play. on second thought, that whole sentence sounds like reasons i shouldve done it. dang. maybe next time.
