I withdrew $1000 yesterday, and tried to do so today. It didn't work, though I had sufficient balance. A $100 withdrawal did work (but not $400, the next highest number I tried).

My understanding was that I have a limit of 20 ATM withdrawals a month, with a max of $1240 per withdrawal.

Am I misunderstanding that? Is the TOTAL ATM withdrawal amount a month $1240? Because that would suck.

EDIT: Just reviewed Thread #2 -- def. not the case it should be $1240 per month . . . but not sure why I'm having the problem. Perhaps it didn't 'reset' yet, I'll try again tomorrow. I'll also try taking the money from checking instead of credit card, but not sure why that would be relevant.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dude, seriously? You can't see how this would be relevant? Always select checking when you are doing withdrawals at an ATM (unless you are getting a cash advance from an actual credit card).

[/ QUOTE ]

I always use the credit option when I withdraw via ATM with my epassporte card. Didn't know any of the other options would work.

they don't. he's talking out of his ass.

Default Re: The official EPASSPORTE thread. (#3 of 3.)

I was forced to open an ePassporte account in the past six weeks in order to continue receiving rakeback. Although ePassporte took nearly two weeks to post the $25 I had sent from my bank account to activite this account, on the two occasions I have sent money from ePassporte to my bank account the money hit my bank account within forty-eight hours of my initiating the transaction.

Default wtf where is my money

Hi, I have an epassaporte account and my first load from my checking account went through.

However I tried loading $300 around 2 weeks ago and it said my money would be available today, 10/23. The money was taken from my bank account on 10/16. Logged on today and there was no trace of my money (account $0.00) and no sign that I ever loaded the $300 on the online statement. WTF is up? Did they steal my money??

Default Heeeeeeelp - Advice Needed

Hello,

I have just read most of the thread and i have to say i do not feel very confident in ePassporte. Anyway, I have started with cashing out from FTP 5K to my ePassporte account (that was obviously BEFORE I heard about the blocked account issued).

I have realized this morning, now that my money in on ePassporte that i can only transfer 300$ / day to my US checking account. It really does not matter to me except for the pain of going through this every day for 16 days but i dont need the money so time is not of essence.

Nevertheless, I am now scared that

A) Money wont go through because of some glitches
B) I will not receive it on my US account and having to wait 7 days to check while i am cashing out 300 / day could cost me around 2K.

Any advices from higher limit players? How do you cash out more than 5K? Daily withdrawals?

Is there anything i can do? I am US citizen living in Vegas but i am now travelling in Bangkok for 6 months. I have tried to call them but after one hour on hold and a high phone bill, never got hold of them.

Should i fill some papers and try and increase my withdrawal limit? Is that even possible? Or should i use the wire transfer option, i dont really care of paying 50 bucks for every 5K if it guarantess the arrival of my money.

Thanks for your help and looking forward to your advices,

Malaika

I've found that withdrawing the max at an ATM machine with your visa card is faster since it sometimes takes epassporte a while to get the money wired into your account.

I guess you should request the $50 fee bank wire transfer. I tried that once and then like 2 weeks later they finally got back to me, and by that time I had already withdrew the money. so better luck to you

Ah. Thanks but i have no visa card and since i am in Thailand, i wont get it. I would love to make the transfer but these morons wont pick up the phone or reply to emails.

Do you think its safe to withdraw .3K / day for 2 weeks? not sure. I am going to take notes on all transaction numbers and cross my fingers.

If i can manage to get them wire the money, I will do it. But will they get back to me? Thats the million $ question.

Anymore advice welcome. Tx

Dude, chill out. It took ePassporte a couple of extra days beyond the announced posting date for them to post my initial deposit.

You're a very patient person. Here's my chronology:

Monday, 9/17: EPassporte verified my checking account. I initiated a deposit to transfer from that account the same day.

Wednesday, 9/26: The load was supposed to be completed and ready for action.

Thursday, 9/27 onwards:
Multiple e-mails to EPassporte re: the load have gone unanswered.
Two phone calls to customer service (the last one was about 3 weeks ago - don't recall the exact date) resulted in assurances the load would be processed, and that I would be contacted. Neither has happened.

Wednesday, 10/24. The load is exactly 4 weeks late. For grins, I went to the EPassporte web site, and the deposit is no longer listed as pending (it was still listed this past weekend as pending, with an availability date of 9/26).

Unlike the previous poster, I'm not actually out any money, since they never took it from my checking account. However, I'm out several hours of time, and out of patience, so won't be chasing it down with them. I gave them several chances, and they blew it.

EPassporte is a bad joke, and someone reputable and reliable who wanted to set up a competitor would have a lot of pent-up demand. Since I sent Full Tilt a MoneyGram, having long since gotten tired of waiting for EPassporte, it's no longer a concern of mine. If/when it comes time to withdraw money from FTP, I'll worry at that stage how to do it.

Cheers, Carl.

I checked today and got my money. It's just a bit scary when they make you wait while all records of the load were gone. Especially with all this bad rep from their unstable service.
