Megadonk is something like 80/50 and has 3bet with 57o, J4s, etc. Postflop he overplays his weak hands, and makes big hopeless bluffs. Solid player and I have a lot of history with each other and we both respect each others games. Both of us know that both of us are each after megadonks money.
I have 600, Donk has 2500, solid player has 450. Megadonk raises 35 UTG. I make it 90 in MP with AKo. Solid player calls in SB, Megadonk calls. Flop AQ8r ($180) Solid player checks, Megadonk checks, I check Is checking here correct? Turn 3r ($180) Now I have 2 questions. 1. What do you do if Solid player makes it $120 and donk folds. 2. What do you do if solid player makes it $250 and donk folds? |

Why do you check behind on the flop? I think I bet hoping to isolate on the donk.

LOL at you guys being 'after the donk's money' and he's got you covered 4x ... what is this a 5/5 capped at 500?
no reason at all to check this flop, i bet 225ish and call a push |

... what is this a 5/5 capped at 500? [/ QUOTE ] Despite your sarcasm, if this is the Bike, then yes. California games suck. I wouldn't check here. If you bet and take it down, there will be a better time to get to the donk's money. How good is this TAG when he is calling off 1/5 of his stack? |

bet flop, you want to play this for stacks, that is best achieved with a flop bet, and your HH says 180 in the pot but there is more like 275 i think...
anyway, def bet this flop and id prolly need more info to proceed properly vs the reg but i think id call either bet size given what i know now |

You have to find out something on the flop here, bet 200 and get the rest in on that turn.
Why are we checking this flop exactly with two others in hand? |

if its a megadonk raising, why dont you just make it 150 or 200 pf???? Now you made it 90 and let a strong player in and you dont know what to do...

no reason to make it only 55 more when you can't put him on any range/hand and he can get wacky postflop. Make it at least 110 or 125.
