It takes far too long to play a decent sample at live poker for you to be able to say you "can't beat it." Live poker, especially the small stakes, is like the easiest thing to beat ever, but variance will still bite you in the ass. I was prob breakeven lifetime through 3 or so Vegas trips (lasting from 2-6 days) and then over the summer I made like $5k during the 3-4 weeks I was there...swongs man, they're one thing.

[/ QUOTE ] yeah but like, based on this logic, everyone should just keep playing because, maybe theyre a winner! and its just variance. if youre losing, barring any further information, youre probably a loser. i mean yeah he definitely might be a winner, i dont know, but like just thinking "man i post on 2+2, im obviously a winning player" and calling it a downswing as you continuously lose money/breakeven is being a bit overly optimistic imo. |
