because he's folding kk, qq, etc to a bet on the turn but might call a bet on the river if it gets checked through.

also, you dont hafta be too worried about flush draws because he cant have either nut flush draw. only KQss and hands like that could make sense for a flush draw. youre not too worried about such a small portion of his range.

Why would bet/calling ever be good here? Does any hand we beat call the flop and raise turn?

b/c turn &gt; crai turn, because this guy is loose enough to call with a bunch of SC's btn vs blinds in 3bet pots. Betting you make him pay for his draw and you protect your hand. Also checking might lose a street of value against weakers aces.

Also you don't know wheter kk/qq/etc are in his range, he might 4bet those pf.
